About MASCA (updated) PDF Print E-mail
MASCA stands for the "Malaysian Students' Council of Australia". 

Our objective is to look after the interest and welfare of Malaysian students in Australia. Specifically we are the state 'chapter' for Queensland, and so we are better known as MASCA Queensland. 

MASCA National is the central body to monitor the work of various MASCA state chapters. Other MASCA chapters include : New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory. 


Other basic details about MASCA Queensland: 
  • Not for profit 
  • Non-political organization student body
  • Supported by the Malaysian Students Department of Australia (MSDA)
  • Work together with the various Malaysian Student Associations (MSA) available in Queensland. For a list of the MSAs in Queensland, please refer to Partners

Among the things that we do: 
  • help out with transport and accommodation for new incoming students
  • promote activities of MSAs
  • organize social, sports, patriotic, and religious events for all Malaysians to participate in
  • prepare MASCA Queensland contingent to annual MASCA National Conference & Games (NCG)
  • update Malaysian students with important news and information from MSDA
